01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Roma Norte, The Coffee Bar stands out as a welcoming haven for both coffee aficionados and casual visitors alike. This coffee shop offers much more than just your average cup of joe — it’s a carefully crafted environment where the hum of lively conversations mingles effortlessly with relaxed, chill EDM tunes to create a uniquely inviting vibe.

Step inside and you’ll find an effortlessly cool space that cleverly balances social energy with pockets of calm. Whether you want to engage in vibrant discussions or simply curl up with a book, The Coffee Bar’s acoustics and atmosphere accommodate both. One delighted guest, Sandy Dolabany, perfectly captures this essence, highlighting the place as alive with “so many conversations amongst people…everyone laughing and enjoying each other’s company” while still being quiet enough to read. It’s this rare blend of conviviality and tranquility that makes it a cherished spot.

The coffee itself garners praise for its quality and variety. Kevin Krone points out the availability of oat milk — a thoughtful nod to those seeking plant-based options — enhancing the experience for many visitors. For those on the hunt for reliable caffeine fuel, The Coffee Bar holds its ground firmly. Himanshi Msl’s testimonial that, after exploring the broader Roma Norte area, they “found the coffee we were looking for” here speaks volumes about this place’s commitment to satisfying diverse palates.

For remote workers or anyone needing a comfortable, clean, and spacious environment, this café is a genuine gem. Maer Melo’s enthusiastic remarks about ample seating options, spotless bathrooms, and a peaceful ambiance underscore its suitability as a productive workspace or casual meeting point.

That said, the coffee may not always hit perfection for everyone — Aya Huaskent notes the flat white was decent but lacked the wow factor seen in other local spots, rating it “3 out of 5 stars.” And a memorable cheesecake experience, lightly chilled but still enjoyable, adds to the casual, laid-back vibe where imperfection doesn’t detract from the overall charm.

Whether you're seeking a vibrant spot to connect with friends, a quiet nook to dive into work, or simply a quality cup of coffee in the heart of CDMX’s Roma Norte, The Coffee Bar offers a genuine, dynamic experience wrapped in warmth and authenticity. It’s a place where great coffee is just the beginning of a memorable visit.

What a vibe this place is. Came here at night and observed so many 1:1 conversations amongst people...everyone laughing and enjoying each other company. Acousitics and music are great; loud enough to have a private conversation but also quiet enough that you could read a book. My cheesecake was partially frozen but didn't bother me cause I was here for the vibe.

Nice environment and staff, the coffee wasn’t that flavorful compared to other places in town. I got a flat white it was like 3 out of 5 stars. Not bad, but not amazing either.

Solid café that’s perfect for when you need to get online and get some work done. Super fast WiFi, good coffee, and tasty food make it a reliable go-to—even if the espresso doesn’t top the neighborhood’s greatest hits list. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and the location makes it a great choice when you need a dependable work café.

Excellent cafe for working or reading. Good wifi and several outlets on the upper level. Gorgeous decor and large windows. Drinks were decent, but I wouldn't order food there again - I ordered a waffle with fruits. The fruits were fresh and exquisite, but the waffle itself was dry and crumbled when I put my fork through it. All things considered, I would return for a coffee and vibes.
